Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Placon platform ("Service") operated by Placon ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, complete information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

The Service offers free and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel at any time; your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial months.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload or create using the Service. You grant us a limited license to process, store, and deliver your content as necessary to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your videos.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Upload content that infringes third-party rights
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use automated tools to scrape or overload the Service

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Placon and protected by intellectual property laws. Templates provided by the Service may be used only within the Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Placon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request a data export before deletion.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in the Netherlands.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
